Kara Bocek pag.1
Hello Pulp friends :)
How about getting this started? :D
Click on the image or click here for a bigger view.
If you dig it a lot and want more than just a page a week, I will steal a few more hours to my sleep and will try to make 2 pages a week, let's say Sundays and Wednesays? Lemme know :)
Meanwhile I hope you enjoy the intro :)
Have a Pulp Sunday, everyone.
Cheers,
Francesco

Great first instalment mate.
As much as i love No Way Out i think i might be digging Kara Bocek more... probably because of the more muted look and the newspaper strip format, which works really well for this sort of thing. It just has a great pulpy feel to it.
Also of course the art is fantastic.
And that Elsa has trouble written all over her.
Do you mind if i repost the actual pages on my blog Francesco?
Excellent! I'll be following this avidly and look forward to seeing the story unroll in what will undoubtedly be awesome artwork.
Nicely done, my friend. Looking forward to seeing more.
Consider me a subscriber. I'm looking forward with great anticipation..
Love it and I've been promoting it. Here's to many more Black Beetle adventures!
Grazie mille, Simon, James, Bobby, Rob, and Anthony, I am so glad you all enjoyed the first "episode" :D
Your enthusiasm definitely makes me want to try to make this a double appointment each week, maybe on Wed/Thur AND on Sundays?
Page can be reposted elsewhere as long a link to the base camp here is provided ;)
Ok, back to draw some Zorro now while I plan the next move for Kara Bocek.
Spread the word and stay tuned! :)
Cheers,
Francesco
Sweet... will repost with linkage.
Also i'm all for second helpings of Beetle each week if you think you have time for them Francesco. :)
Dang...reading this makes the internet worthwhile!
Thanks for this lovely treat, Francesco...your art makes the whole thing read just like a movie. I expect Bogart to show up any time..)
Wow, this is great Francesco. I can't wait to see where this goes!
Wow, this looks GREAT!! Can't wait to see where you take this.
Totally diggin ' this. Nicely done.
Are you a big fan of Attilio Micheluzzi ?
Thank you so much, Dave, Rory, Steve, and Dominic, you guys are so kind :D
Bogart is not gonna show up but the Casablanca vibe will be definitely there, even if there isn't much room for romance in this story ;)
And yes, big fan of Attilio, as you can tell, since I was a kid: I met him at one of the first Con I attended and he was one of the first to give me feedback on my art. Too bad is not with us anymore.
Cheers,
Francesco
