La Cucaracha!

La Cucaracha

Click on the images for bigger size

Hello Pulp Friends,

I can finally reveal another of the many "side" projects I am working on here and there: "LA CUCARACHA", a short GRAVESLINGER tale written by the super talented and super friend Cullen Bunn.

La Cucaracha
I was waiting to draw some more GRAVESLINGER since I did the below pinup 2 ys ago, and thanks to Shannon Denton I got to kill two roaches...err... two birds with one stone because not only I am drawing a tale, but I am also working with Cullen, which is a delight just that alone :)
Hope you dig it, and if you think this page is nasty, wait to see the next ones ;)

La Cucaracha
The tale will be part of a collection of short tales soon to be published by IDW. STay tuned for more info.

Cheers,
Francesco

The Crimson Clown

The Shadow Knows
~~ Click on the image for biggie ~~

Hello Pulp Friends,

as promised, here's the character chosen among all the entries (thanky ou so much to all who entered :).
This was a tough decision as all characters are so cool, but I went with this one for two reasons:
1) it's a character cretaed by Jonston McCulley, a creator I am quite familiar with ;)
2) I wanted to challange myself with making a guy named CRIMSON CLOWN and actually dressed as a clown to look cool. You tell me if I succeded to it or not ;)

Thanks to @Comicbookdaily, I present you the Crimson Clown! :)

And thanks to everyone for making this first edition of Pulp Fest Week so fun! Definitely planning to do it again sometime, and definitely planning to make the request thing a regular feature (time permitting).

Cheers,
Francesco

Kara Bocek page 10
(click on the above image for a bigger reading experience ;))

Hello Pulp friends :)

here's page 11 which starts the second part of this Black Beetle's tale. This is when the action begins (I warned you about it, didn't I? ;)) and everythign will escalate in the third part where you will find out about two major things about our favorite pulp hero, things that will play later in all the Black Beetle's stories. (so you don't want to miss it).
Hope you enjoy today's episode (lemme hear from you if you have a sec) and stay tuned tomorrow for the Pulp Friday showcasing one fo the character that have been submitted for Pulp Fest Week :)

Also, if you feel inclined, please vote Black Beetle's KARA BOCEK for the web ccomic category for the Harvey Awards @ http://www.harveyawards.org/ : it would be cool to have this nominated and even cooler to win in that category :)

Cheers,
Francesco
