Lovecraftiana @ Heroes Con!

Hello Pulp friends :)

as you know I will be attending Heroes Con this week and for the occasion I will have brand new exclusive prints, featuring the above "LOVECRAFTIANA" and below artwork (you may be familiar with those images below ;))

I will be set in Artist Alley (AA) at table 303. Two big banners featuring the Winged King Skull and the Dark Queen of Hearts should make it easy for you to find me :)
I will have these new exclusive prints plus some fan favorite like my Poe and Lovecraft B/W prints and lots more (including some of my faux golden age pulp covers). I will also have my sketchbooks and whatnot and , of course, I will be doing con sketches/commission all weekend long, so stop by to say hi and maybe get something (original or print work ;))

For those interested, I will also be attending the Comic Twart panel: it's gonna be fun so try to be there if you can :)

Hello Pulp Friends,

with the upcoming HEROES Convention in Charlotte (next week, June 4-6) and several projects/deadlines to take care, both "Kara Bocek" and "Nightmare Town" are taking an "intermezzo" (yeah, that sound better than "a break" ;)).

It still is Pulp Sunday thou, so how about an exclusive look at my cover for KATO Origins #4? :D

Hope you guys have a wonderful holiday weekend and I hope to see as many of you as possible at Heroes Con in a few days: will have tons of new pulpy prints and maybe... well I will tell you later when I know for sure ;)

Ben Grimm, P.I.

Hello Pulp Friends,

I did the above fake cover as (a bit silly) take on Ben Grimm for Comic Twart - inspired by an initial headsketch of Ben with fedora-like and coat on by Ramon Perez, sketch that I inked and transformed in the above cover.
This morning I couldn't help to do another take on this noir Ben Grimm as warmup sketch and the result is the above (quick) splash page that could actually open the story, which is...

Synopsis:
What if Ben and Reed part ways (not in a good way). After a few years Ben is a PI and (femme fatale) Sue steps in his office. She wants Ben investigating on the murder of Mr Fantastic.
How does that sounds for a NOIR take on the FF? :) Now if only I could find anyone at Marvel who lets me do it ;)

GARRISON #2 & GREEN HORNET Y1 #3

Hello guys,

It's comicbook day and I have a couple of suggestion for ya ;)

First, WildStorm's GARRISON #2 (of 6), my and Jeff Mariotte's new creator owned title (and as such it has a special place in my heart :)). Above is an exclusive preview of the first 6 pages just to give a glimpse of the rollercoaster action you guys are gonna get from now until the explosive issue 6 (which concludes the mini).
A huge thanks to all of you who picked up issue 1 and helped spread the good word about it. Hope to see you and many more picking up issue 2: this is gonna be FUN! :)

Second, Dynamite's GREEN HORNET YEAR ONE #3, by Matt Wagner and Aaron Campbell and me at the coloring duties. Below you can see a preview of the pages and the 2 covers (one by yours truly :))
Some really good PULP fun (I know you guys like that) so make sure to pick this up as well while you are in the shop :)
