"Robot Monster" (1953)

Robot Monster
Moon monsters launch attack against Earth! How can science meet the menace of astral assassins? New Science Fiction Thrills!

Hello, Pulp Friends,

Today's offering, "Robot Monster", directed by Phil Tucker in 1953, is in the same category of "Plan 9 From Outer Space": CULT movies! :D
Speaking of Plan 9, I should feature it in here as well - definitely ;)
Meanwhile I leave you with Ro-Man, our helemted primate from the moon and with my wish to draw a full book, one day, with this guy. I would LOVE to do that :)

Wish you all a wonderful Pulp Sunday :)

Cheers,
Francesco

That's easily one of my favorites that you've posted here lately, Francesco.

Great great poster. Loving your work.

Again, FF, your gift is the ability to make these somewhat ludicrous, classic monsters into what the original filmmakers THOUGHT they were putting onscreen. And also, what those same rubber suits looked like in small children's nightmares...which have a tendancy to make those monsters real!

Thank you so much, Chuck, Rob, Warwick, and Chad :D Glad to hear that my trying to make them look cool is working :) Will try to keep it up!
