Pick Your Own Fear
Hello Pulp friends :)
October is just behind the corner, and as you all know, I always like to celebrate the Halloween month with something special like the "Sisterhood Of The Witches" of last year and the "SchermoScuro" of 2006.
So I decided to let you guys decide what it's gonna be this year :)
Below you will find 4 options, numbered. Please let me hear from you which one you would like to see from me, and please vote in mass, let me hear from as many of you as possible: this is a case were abstinence from voting is not that cool ;)
Of course, in addition to the chosen topic, I will make room here and there for more Mad Doctors and more Witches, 'cause they are never enough, right? :)
Voting ends on October 1st.
Here are the topics:
1) HAMMER OKTOBER
A tribute to the famous British gothic movies
2) UNIVERSAL FEAR
Classic Universal Horror - there is more to say? ;)
3) A CREEPY HALLOWEEN
A short original sequential tale,
written and drawn by me, in the vein
of classic CREEPY and EC magazines
4) BLOODY PULP
(Fake) pulp covers of Fear and Terror
Have a Pulp Sunday everyone!
Cheers,
Francesco

My vote is for Bloody Pulp. I love your cover design, and I know little to nothing about your other categories.
I would like to vote for Universal Fear!
Go for BLOODY PULP!
The Vault of Fear needs to be unlocked!
I'm going with Universal Fear!
Hammer Oktober please
That Harvey Dent was always my favorite of this series, Francesco.
My vote is for #3, the story done in the EC vein. Although I will say this was a tough choice, The Universal Fear sounds pretty good too.
Another Bloody Pulp vote here!
Hammer Oktober all the way, bloody baby!
Ooh a difficult choice between the last two. Um... i think i'll vote for Bloody Pulp cos your cover/designey stuff is always awesome, and it'll be interesting to see what you come up with. :)
Thank you so much for voting, guys :)
So far, Blooody Pulp seems to be the top choice but we have time until October 1st to see which topic is the winner, so vote more and spread the word :)
Hammer Oktober [+2]
Universal Fear [+2]
Creepy Halloween [+1]
Bloody Pulp [+4]
Cheers,
Francesco
I am trying to decide if I would rather see you write or draw! I'll vote for Creepy Halloween.
A vote for Hammer Oktober.
I am going to have to throw in with Oktober Hammer. Bloody Pulps is a good one too. But my vote is Oktober Hammer.
Bloody pulp for the win.
though a creepy Halloween would be interesting.
Rachelle: I would be doing both (writing AND drawing) if Creepy Halloween wins ;)
Thank you all for the votes, my friends :) Hammer Oktober has gained some points but Bloody Pulp is still on top so far:
Hammer Oktober [+4]
Universal Fear [+2]
Creepy Halloween [+2]
Bloody Pulp [+5]
Keep'em coming, guys!
Cheers,
Francesco
Any way you can do a week of extrapolation on this old article?

Bloody Pulp all the way!
Ooo..this sounds great, Francesco! Finally, my work has eased up and let me post again...I've missed Pulp Sunday!
For my vote...I'd love to see a Creepy Halloween story!
Whatever happens, thanks for the October treats, my friend!

And I missed you too, Dave :) Thanks for voting, everyone!

Hammer Oktober [+4]
Universal Fear [+2]
Creepy Halloween [+3]
Bloody Pulp [+7]
Bloody Pulp is going for the win (I also got an extra vote for it off blog) but you all have still today to vote: this evening we will know the official topic for this scary October :)
Cheers,
Francesco
I vote Hammer.
Hammer Oktober!
Hammer!
Thanks, guys! :)
Holy Monsters, it's a tie now between Hammer and Bloody Pulp!
Hammer Oktober [+7]
Universal Fear [+2]
Creepy Halloween [+3]
Bloody Pulp [+7]
hhmmm... Thinking what to do now...
FF
Francesco, I'm satisfied with your solution to the surprising last minute tie.
Hurrah, for all my fellow Hammer-phobes weighing in at the eleventh hour.
Now, that's the way to do it!
My pleasure, Chuck :D WHen it comes to horror, you don't need to twist my arm ;)
Cheers,
Francesco
