Hello Pulp Friends,

I am so sorry but - as some of you who follow me on Twitter may already know - I had some major computer crash this past week that really put me behind on some work, so I have been spending most of the time these past few days setting up my laptop for work (with all the compatibility issues) and catching up on projects.
I know this is the second week without a new BB page but sometime real life (and freaking technology) gets in the way of the fun.
Hope you all will forgive me.

To make up for the missing page, here's an absolute preview: the cover for Green Hornet Year One #3, from the initial pencil sketch to the rough color pass to the final inks (below) and final cover in color (above).
Hope you guys dig it.

Cheers,
Francesco

Nice piece (as are they all), but I gotta ask...
can he out-draw (with a gas-gun yet) two guys who are ready to fire at point-blank range, especailly drawing from behind?
Hopefully, this is like a serial cliffhanger where things are not as they seem!

HA! You are tryong to apply logic to comics (or pulps and movies)? If so, the bad guy will never have a long talk again while aiming the gun to the hero: he will just shoot the hero in the head and then maybe say a word or two ;)
Glad you liked the cover, Britt :)

Cheers,
Francesco

What a sweet perspective on that scene. Iconic and dynamic at once. Very nice, FF.

Thank you, Chad :D Once I finished it, it reminded me a bit of the UNFORGIVEN movie poster. Totally accidental.
Thank you, LD,glad you liked the color palette :)
