"Blood on Christmas" part 5, Dec 24, 2007

Blood on Christmas
Hello dear Pulp Fans,

Here is the final chapter of this short Christmas tale titled "Blood on Christmas". When I first showed this to my wife, she gasped and said "Poor girl... she is going to be scarred for life" and I replied "well, that's what pulp/noir is all about!" ;)
Anyhow, I really hope you guys have enjoyed this little thing I crafted for you and I hope you will escuse me while I go off to celebrate the Christmas with my wife :)

Thank you, everyone, and have a Pulp Christmas!

Francesco

Re: Scarring.

I know how you and your wife feel...I mean look at what pulp's done to me!

Merry Christmas!

Sweet Jebus, I am your wife! Exact same wording as my thoughts.

Merry Christmas! I need to get some sleep so I can see Little Man play with his trains in the morning.

Funny, I think the little girl's name is Margo Lane and that she grows up to be the Shadow's No. 1 operative.

Plus she gets a nice ruby ring for Christmas, what little girl wouldn't like that.

Merry Christmas and thanks again for this fun little Christmas Noir.

That was nice treat, different then the radio shows. Thanks for taking the extra effort of doing a strip.

Great pulp feel to it.

Brian -- I think what you mean to say is that young Margo grows up to be The Shadow's "friend and companion"...

Which really does put a wicked spin on things doesn't it?

Oh. My. God.

Beautiful stuff, and far better than either of the surviving Christmas episodes of "The Shadow" radio program. Really, there's just no comparison. These are dark, gritty and beautiful.

Ok, back from my little Xmas break and back to draw Zorro! (and some Shadow here and there ;))

Bill, srh, Brian, Ilia, Greg, Bobby: thank you so much for the very kind comments, guys, I am really happy you all enjoyed the little tale.
The idea this could be some kind of "Margo: Origins" or "Margo: Year One" is way too cool :) I might need to include her name somehow in the room and run with it ;) Thanks for the inspiration, guys, and I hope you all are having a serene holiday season :)

Cheers,
Francesco
